The third phase of Vendetta Against Doubt was originally going to be a concept album entitled "Who Needs Friends When You've Got Fads". Despite being the shortest VAD collection to date it is I feel the most reflective of what the project has come to reflect. From the ambigous subject of "I'm Not In Love" to the subject of the closing track "Three Little Words" this phase takes in influence from no less than four different girls. What I like most about this phase is the fact that its just me and a guitar, just like Loveisnowhere, yet with two years more experience the whole thing seems better. As for my favourite track from this era it has to be "A Song For You", which will probably remain the most tongue in cheek track I ever write.
